What is IELTS?
1. IELTS is the International English Language Testing System.
If you want to work or migrate or pursue your education abroad more specifically from a country where English is spoken by the majority of people, you need to take this exam.
2. As the result of this exam is the only proof to show your proficiency in English language and you won’t face any communication issues while staying that country
3. IELTS is jointly owned and conducted by IDP Education Australia, British Council and Cambridge Language Assessment
4. This exam is divided into four segments namely listening, reading, writing and speaking. The speaking test is taken by the IELTS examiner and conducted face-to-face.
5. The exam is graded in 9 bands, and you should score at least 6 bands in each section. If your score is less than 6 in any one section then it’s considered a failure.
6. You can attempt the exam any time in the year. The exam is conducted four times a month.
